Welcome to the PJFC

Dear PJFC community,

Welcome (almost) to the 2021 Junior Football Season!

We’re very sorry to announce that we won’t be able to run our Jumper Presentations to open the season this Friday 30th April. We got close, but out of an abundance of caution, the WAFC and State Government have asked that we have no gatherings before Sat 1st May.

Unfortunately this also means our two season opening, Friday night blockbuster games will also be rescheduled. Sorry to our Year 4 Red and Year 5 teams – your time will come!

We know it’s frustrating, we understand it’s annoying, but we all just need to do our bit. Please listen to advice from the State Government on COVID safe practices and we’ll get back to normal as soon as we can. The club will have SafeWA QR codes available, as will your Team Managers; we will also be providing sanitiser for staff and players.

While you’re all here and reading, a shameless plug for another of our initiatives, designed to get a bit of cross-team meet and greet going; Friday Night Football. COVID willing, our second instalment will be upstairs at the Clubrooms on Friday 7 May, just before Mother’s Day. With that in mind, we will be running a raffle with not one, but two major prizes, courtesy of sponsors and generous donations.

Mothers Day Special – carton of Plantagenet wine and $200 voucher for any Hawaiian Shopping Centre (Melville Plaza or Claremont Quarter… groceries or fashion… your choice).

Bloke BBQ Special – carton of Gage Roads and a carnivore’s delight tomahawk steak courtesy of Meat Direct.

Would be great to see a few of you all down there. Stay safe and let’s hope for no further interruptions to Season 2021!

We consider that our club is not just about our kids playing football, it is also a vital part of the local community.

We believe that’s part of the reason we were the East Fremantle District Junior Club of the Year in 2014 and 2019!
