Our last game of the season, against our old rival in Canning Vale and what a match it was, with both teams aware of the encroaching ‘moth balls’. We jumped out of the blocks with a will to run hard, share and be creative for one another. With a larger contingent of spectators than the Freo Dockers (about 30) we seized the initiative early and played the first stanza on our terms amassing lots of handballs and open space run to play. Showing outstanding team skills, courage and raw abilities the Paly gang finished their season on a fantastic high dominating the final three quarters to the delight of each other and supporters. Thanks to the entire coaching, managerial and other task carriers that have given us a successful season. Thanks to the parents for enjoying our developing skills and transporting us about the district and most of all thanks to the Paly 11’s. Next season here we come, seeya…Fox.
