We looked like copping a caning today but bounced back brilliantly in the second and fourth stanzas to excite our legion of supporters. The characteristic runs of Connor and Joel really got the team going. Mitchell was great and he disproved the ‘Samson Theory’. Ben played his best game for some time, Alkira took a few timely marks, and Phoenix put his influence on the game. Zack was good, Bailey and Anthony played their usual reliable games at the end we sang the club song with gusto. Thanks to the Volunteers on Canteen and BBQ duties.
